Hello,
First off i must say how amazing a job you guys seem to have done with this world. It looks great. However, I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a small problem I'm having. I just downloaded/installed this game, and it runs great up to the main menu, where when i click new game, it simply takes me back to the main menu. I have been looking forward to fixing this in order to play, and can't without some help.

You must only have the 3 Nehrim files running. Disable the Oblivion.esm and all other data files. Do not run the game from Oblvion's launcher, but from Nehrim's launcher. HTH.

Well currently I have zero files running for Nehrim and zero files running for oblivion. I tried opening a new game for oblivion and that didn't work either. I also tried to lower the settings and that seemed to have no effect. I'm thinking at this point it's a file missing or something.
That sounds like an installation problem, you probably need to reinstall.
You may want to try the "lesser" solutions in the Readme.txt section "Help, the game will not start!" first.
Especially if you have a Steam Version.
