Hi,

I am level 8, and just arrived at the sanctum. I discovered the Shadow Council has a basement with a cave leading to a bridge over a gorge. I was wondering if exploring this is best left till later in the game due to it being involved with quests, or is this something which can be explored at any time.

There is not much to explore in this cave now, as it is connected to another quest later on. You can explore however without fear of breaking a quest.

to my knowledge so far, you cannot break main quests because these are usualy protected by locked doors which can only be unlocked by quests. some side quests might be cut short if you do the second half of the quest randomly etc, like finding the key to zenbillion before you start the side quest.

But you can still do the side quest if you have already found the key to Zerobilon. And the other sidequests should also make no troubles.

i found a quest that led me to alcazar (sp) and her lair that is where I found the key. i took it to Zerobilon and did not find much. I did find a blue portal but nothing happened with it. am I missing something?
