Can many of these keys be gotten ? I know it's a bit there to stop the player from wandering off the direction of the story, but other times there seems to be cell doors or what not where the room can obviously be seen but it requires a specific key to open. There's also some caves/mines/temples IIRC that ask for a key to open as well.
I do not know, some houses never seem to open. (Like the house at the lumber camp at the south of the middle realm, it shows up on the map - but its locked.)
same for some temples/dungeons, quite weird. Seems like they still have to add stuff to those

Eltridor- the whole town is locked and requires a key, but has seemingly no purpose for existing.
Iron Fire Halls- Needs key to open, has 2 entrances both need keys.
Other things I'm wondering about.. does the sea gate have any purpose as of yet?
Is there anything in the Northrealm (The great glacier) ? What is the red line representative of on the map ?
Can any of the other portals be entered in the portal chamber? i.e. guard warehouse, xormaron (sp?) etc. ?
Some of the locked places you later will enter with quests.
Some like Eltridor are allways locked-so there is no need to build interior cells...
