Hi. I'm playing with the steam version of Oblivion and loving it so far. However, I'm at the part where there is a cut-scene in the burned-out village and the game crashes when the load bar reaches 100%. Any ideas?

Hi. I'm playing with the steam version of Oblivion and loving it so far. However, I'm at the part where there is a cut-scene in the burned-out village and the game crashes when the load bar reaches 100%. Any ideas?

1) Please check that you don't have a "bonus set item" equipped (one of those armor pieces that get automatically equipped when you have a whole set on you). If you do, then you must unequip it (by unequipping some other piece of the set).
2) If this doesn't help, please upload your savegame.
