When I click New Game - Start the New Game ? and push Yes, nothing happens. It goes back to main menu screen.

Sometime it helps to make a fresh Oblivion installation, and reinstall everything, if this error occurs.
Ok, I fixed it.
The problem was the No-DVD crack. I copied original exe file, put dvd into the drive and it worked. But is it intended (anti-piracy protection perhaps) ? I don't want to be forced to have disc in drive all the time.

Is it possible that your no-dvd crack has a version < 1.2.0416? Because in this case, forget about Nehrim anyway. You need the latest version (1.2.0416) of Oblivion. We certainly did not add any copy protection.
I'm getting this problem too. I'm using the no-cd crack as well, but everything is at 1.2.0416.
Copy no-dvd crack (1.2.0416) into Nehrim directory. That might solve the problem.
