Ok. So I downloaded Nehrim.
I Installed it on a dedicated partition ~30Gb E:\Nehrim\
Oblivion Version 1.2.041EN
started the launcher , dezactivated all the mods and oblivion.esm.
activated(only) Nehrim.esm and NehrimData.Esp
I edited the .reg file with the right path.-checked the registry via regedit : The path is E:\Nehrim
Started the game.

and CTD.

what am I missing ?

Thank you,

Alex S Valentine.

-nevermind , I installed it in the Oblivion Folder.
You don't have to edit the.reg file for nehrim.
no but it will be useful next time when you update :D
Oh, well.. didn't think about that - could be right.
I had the same problem at first - came out that nehrim wasn't the problem - it war oblivion itself.
on vista or win 7 you have to install the game in admin mode (or was it only the 64bit version? not so sure).
I heard so. However I still use XP :D

as I mentioned in the edit , installing Nehrim somewhere then copying the files in the Oblivion Folder will do the job .
Question. Please:

When I have Nehrim properly installed, will I be able SWITCH back and fourth BETWEEN playing Nehrim and Oblivion (with different chatacters, of course.)?

Danke elana
Yes, you can. This is the reason, why Nehrim is installed into another folder.
All you have to do is switch from the Nehrim-esm and esp's to the Oblivion.esm and the Mods you might use.
And, if you backuped your savegames, put them back into to savegame-folder.
