Yes, but the problem with ihud is that it only disables compass, and that i have already managed by fidlling with the skyrimprefs.ini. The thing i am after now is specifically disabling the position marker in the map, which to my knowledge cannot be disabled as easily.

Hey!
I just discovered like yesterday that Enderal has released, and i immediately redownloaded Skyrim and went straight in. And i loved every second of the introduction and first steps. But then i turned it off after like half an hour. Why? Because this is brand new, unexplored land, with beautiful ...

Hey!
I know that you are probably well into the development, but i simply must share a mod which i found for New Vegas, and i absolutely adore it and would like to see implemented in every game from now to forever! (well, the idea of it anyway :). You can read it here http://arwenevecom.ipage.com ...

A really quick flash idea
: How about blacksmithing producing armor and items not obtainable any other way?
Just a random idea that the original poster made me think of: how cool would it be to have a quest involving an avalanche?
LOL its an interesting idea but i cant imagine that something like that could be implemented and at the same time be anywhere near looking good enough...maybe a massive rock ...

Hmm i must say that now that i think about i can agree with Defianc4. I dont speak german and im not american, and when i was playing Nehrim it came to me absolutely immersive and natural that those characters spoke a language i could not understand at all. Somebody here wrote a piece about it ...

Hey, before release of Skyrim i remember hearing todd howard saying something like whatever move/sit/dance animation an npc can do in the world you can do with your character as well. As i am sure we are all aware of, this is quite far from the truth. So i was just wondering whether it is possible ...
The Skyrim "hints" stated that shops were generally open from 8 AM to 8 PM. But they very often opened later than 8 AM, sometimes after 10 AM. So I might arrive at 8:30 AM , not open, wait 1 hour, still not open, wait another hour, finally open. .
You are quite right, but my impression was that ...

I agree with the part of more powerfull potions affecting over time. It would eliminate abuse of them as well as need to stack 100+ on each kind. As for the part about obsolete food, thats exactly the reason why i think it should have only menial effect if its found in dungeons and likewise. (At ...
I just got an idea for maybe little more smooth implementation of basic needs such as hunger and thirst. The point would be in instant consumption of food picked up in the world. The "proper" stackable food would still be available in taverns or obtainable via cooking, but food in dungeons or world ...
Since we will probably disable the option to rest or wait normally...
How does that sound to you?

So judging by the information that i have gathered from other discussions and topics i think that what i would value most is an hardcore a la New Vegas. Honestly i was extremely dissapointed that Beths did not included one with the Skyrim after New Vegas. I think its even more important for Enderal ...
Hmm thats good to hear :) I love how game developers can trick players perception of the size of the gameworld. I especially loved the gothic 2 setup, in which you thought how big the world is, and only in the end you realized that its not THAT big, just neatly stacking one zone into another ...
I disagree. For me, the whole point of a wide-open RPG is for players to go where they want, do what they want, and not be forced into anything, unless they choose to.
Well i can agree with most of your post, however i think you are missing the point. Fast Travel, as it stands now is a huge cut ...
Skyrim has been named RPG Game of the Year by several different publications and organizations, (as was its Elder Scrolls predecessors), so if you don't believe that Skyrim is an RPG, there are obviously many who would disagree with you.

I agree that there should be some good travel system, like teleports in Morrowind or carriages... But I say BIG no for fast-travel/teleports everywhere.
100% Agree. But i think that they had this down pretty much in Nehrim, so i dont think that fast travel will be coming back anytime soon ...

While the main quest could rely on "He's the chosen one", the side quests could be managed by a trigger for a time limit.
Good point. I am just at my first playthrough of Arktwend, and i noticed some things when comparing it against nehrim and all the elder scrolls. First to your point, i ...

Ok, so i finally managed to get into the game itself. When i have installed arktwend, i have simply unloaded the content of newly created arktwend folder into morrowind folder(not sure whether this is the right thing to do). After brief conversation with two first characters (Brother Ventin and Paul ...
