so i just started playing and im at the part where you find a note about torches to make a trap but it seems that i cant open any crates in that room exept for an empty one
is this part of the quest?
if yes please help me with where to go

When i start the game and click on New Game i get the video and stuff
then there is the character creation and thats my problem. i see the bars and the race's choosing window on the left but i dont see the character or the background.
at first i thought it was just a glitch so i just click next ...
