I'm reposting here coz I am a newb and posted initially in the SureAI forum which was probably wrong.

So I blew the horn to wake the giant, but it does not work.

So I blew it again, and the boulder fell down and opened the gate once it hit the pressure plate.

So that's cool, and now I can get in ...

As Trex said, exploring is key to success in this game. Go down every hole you can. If the enemies are too strong and drive you out, don't worry, try and find another dungeon. Coz 'phat lewt' is what you will find.
