EDIT: Ah wait... did you perhaps finish it with 1.1.2.4? If so that would mean that the bug got into the game with 1.1.2.6 - that information would actually be a great help.

If it helps, I just noticed that my copy of Enderal was still on 1.1.2.4, so I tested the quest. (I was on the very last stage anyway--going to talk to the mayor.) I can confirm that, at least by going down the telling Meldor you'll turn him in / telling the Mayor the truth path, the quest does not complete.

Again, that's on 1.1.2.4.

The quest is bugged, I found out everything and got to the end after choosing the tell the truth ending and then nothing happens after talking to the mayor. He just keeps repeating the same lines and the quest doesn't end.

The only way I know of to clear this quest is through the console. try typing setstage nq15 250

Finished the quest and returned to Jugar Featherwall.
he says his lines and then nothing. quest is not finished. even the quest marker stays on his head.

as i stated in an almost identical thread...

this quest is bugged, it's a known issue, and at the moment this is the only fix i'm aware of:
using the console try typing: setstage nq15 250 (this might/should work)

Is there a console command to finish this quest ? I was going to put a bug report about not being able to finish this quest but lookin at the wiki page I see one has already been put in





EDIT: I had a look on how to finish broken Skyrim Quests I figured out that I had to type in { setstage NQ15 255 } And the quest completed fine
