When I play the game it randomly crashes to desktop with no message at all. This happens at random intervals. I already got a clean version of skyrim and then installed it but it keeps doing it. For the rest the game is playable its just you never now when it will shut down so you need to auto save every 5 minutes.
Also thanks for the hard work I really like what I have seen so far and am interested in the story.

Hi there, i also had ctd quite oftenly (at least 1 or more per hour), i digged a bit german forums and i found these :

to make it short, all you have to do is :
- change UseOSAllocators=0 to UseOSAllocators=1 in Skyrim\Data\SKSE\Plugins\CrashFixPlugin.ini
- download an extract d3dx9_42.dll from this this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/75795/? to your skyrim folder (where TESV.exe is).
- enjoy !
Now i have much longer gaming sessions, i still have ctd, but for others reasons, usually while loading screens, not in the wilderness, also, loading screens are a bit faster because basically with previous operation you replaced skyrim default memory allocator by the windows one which is more reliable.

Editing the .ini file and adding the .dll file did help. I'm still occasionally getting an in game CTD but not near as often as I was. So thank you.
I have several CTD but they only occurs when I try to change location . For example I've entered Abandoned bee farm (small hause) and when I try to leave it (so game need to load new aresa) I will get CTD. I had it several times now and I'm really worried because the first thing which I need to do every time when I enter new dungeon/mine/tomb/etc is to check if I can leave it. I'm on win10.
I've never got CTD during normal exploration outside dungeone/mines/house/tombs. CTD only occurs during changing location from one to another.
Any tips? I'm using this DLL file and I've did changes in skyrim ini and crashplugin. It does not matter for me because It is lik 99% that game will crash if I will exit one of those locations (I was able once to exit Keldorn Tomb - luck?).

Hi, if this little hotfix doesn't help you, you can try following things :
- use enderal vanilla version, no mod loaded from launcher, no enb, etc
- reinstall or repair from following exe : Skyrim\VCRedist\vcredist_x86.exe Skyrim\DotNetFX\dotnetfx35setup.exe
- refresh your directx install from official MS installer here : https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/Downloa ... aspx?id=35
- refresh your drivers (especially gpu ones)
if it doesn't change anything, i'll need more informations from crashes to help you, so, enable skyrim engine to generate logs, edit Skyrim.ini from launcher (Settings, others tabs) and change Papyrus section to :
[Papyrus]
bEnableLogging=1
bEnableTrace=1
bLoadDebugInformation = 1
Save and play until next crash, it will create you a Logs folder in skyrim directory, send me all logs file inside. you can use pastebin.com to make it easier and post links here.
