After some digging, trying and lots of failure I figured out how to make it all work for Enderal: Forgotten Stories. I am using version 1.5.2.0 in english localization.

While it works so far ingame I do not know - yet - if it could affect the story gameplay in any way so use at your own risk.

• FNIS Patch for Enderal -> https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76979

• XPMSE -> https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68000 | comes bundled with a specific patch for Enderal already. Tick it on on setup

• DSR -> https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34155 + DSR Patch for Enderal -> https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/77082
  This part is tricky, some hints:
  • You find the SkyProc Patcher in the DATA-Tab of MO2
  • MO2 needs to be run as Admin!
  • The plugins.txt and enderal.ini files the installer will ask for are located in C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\ModOrganizer\Enderal\profiles\Default
  • After that the patched Data will be in the Override. Right Click Override and choose "Create Mod". Call it "Dual Sheath Redux Patch".

• Optional: Immersive Animation -> https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34950 | Should produce 8 conflicts for the same animations XPMSE is already using but this is no problem.

• Run FNIS now via GenerateFNISforUsers.exe in your Data/tools folder and activate the two topmost patches. If it only outputs 1 warning you did fine.

Is not working with steam standalone version after patch overwrite say the patcher that hi miss the dual esp file but i have it on in loadorder. And in game say enderal that miss skypatcher esp from dualcheat.

I had this problem as well and managed to fix it.

This happens because the DSR patcher tries to read the Skyrim plugins.txt instead of Enderal's.

Note: If Skyrim isn't installed it will complain that the plugins.txt file is missing and prompt you to manually pick the file. In this case you can just pick Enderal's plugins.txt.



There are two ways to fix this.

Delete Skyrim's plugins.txt and manually pick Enderal's plugins.txt.

Copy the context of Enderal's plugins.txt into Skyrim's plugins.txt.



By default the plugins.txt file is located at C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Skyrim and C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\enderal. If you are using Mod Organiser 2 you should look inside you MO2 profile folder for Enderal.
