I must open the gate through a "remote control", in front of it there is a pressure plate but when I go on the plate the gate doesn't open. I think that this is a bug but anyway how can I open the gate now?

I don't know what you might have done (or might not have done), or if there is some odd bug. Maybe you could try using Setstage to set the quest at the beginning, maybe stage 5 or 10? Sometimes it is a bit quirky about walking through a certain spot to trigger a stage, and if you happen to go around the spot or jump over it, it doesn't trigger.
