Many thanks for your responses, much appreciated. I did have the Z key assigned to grab and it appeared to do nothing. Maybe it was the panic caused by the tight timescale in the game, complete immersion or what, however I remapped the grab key to my mouse and could still not pick up the barrels ...

Hi All

I have really enjoyed Nehrim so far but this quest highlights the failings of Oblivion and why the game engine was dropped. Moving those barrels is impossible. You cannot grab them, if you try and push them you either catapult them into a corner or slide over the top. Silly! Or am I missing ...

Would you mind giving me a hint as to where "dam near Carothin" is please? I have been looking for the greaves for some time now and have cleared out a lot of dungeons but have not stumbled across Carothin yet.
