After trying a gazillion times and failing just before the last stick, I used TCL to bypass the door. That wasn't ideal because it meant I had 2 quest markers while searching for the way to Ark. Next playthrough I'll be using this mod which gives you 30 seconds to complete the puzzle.
Thanks for the feedback.
I'm glad to hear that my little mod works with the English version of Nehrim. The bug you mentioned has been squashed. It does have a downside though but that might just be my savegame which had already loaded

Nehrim is very OBSE-friendly. The launcher supports it, all you have to do is install OBSE in your Nehrim folder.
I don't think anybody here is wishing for the fall of Bethesda, quite the contrary. Think of their games what you will, Bethesda is very generous with their constructionsets and without that there would be no Nehrim. Nor would Oblivion has been such a succes btw. anyway, I play on a 4 year old rig ...
The mage buffs give +5 to offensive and -5 to defensive spells and vice versa depending on which stance you choose.
I use this mod to remove obsolete spells. It does require OBSE though.

Congratulations, you have broken your game. Here's hoping you have a recent savegame without having used psb.

Magic tiers are based on your level, not your skill. You start out with tier I, gain tier II at level 7, tier III at 14, etc.
