Yea, it can be put that way, The holy order tried to stop the cleansing, but actually helped it happen faster and more violent, while Nehrim tried to make the cleansing happen and do the bidding of the HIgh Ones, but turned out ir they were successful, the cleansing may happen in a less violent way.

Hey Hazzmat, that is an interesting view where I rarely hear people talk about destroying the beacon.
But I could point out some flaws if looking into that way (while obviously you are open to point out flaws from my theories)

Reasons: At least there will be direct contact with someone (my spouse, Calia) with people who are already fighting this in another continent. There were already previous prophets who fled and had to watch each generations fail.

I played an archer-rogue on Iron Path and it went pretty well. To lower the difficulty down to master and no "die-reload-die-reload" seems a huge challenge to me. I'm in for strategic playthrough. Sounds like it will be a sword and board with heavy armor for no-die survival. Though ...

Alchemy and enchanting is useless.

But Handicraft is useful up to level 50, crafted items are significanly better than other things. But the next step for improving increment is level 80 with unlocking the magic backpack. Meh.
