As the subject clearly says, I have lag and crashes. It's commom for me to lag in this mod, I don't know why, I clearly followed the directions and stuff, and can't figure it out.
I also get crashes, like every hour, 10 minutes, 30, I don't know
I'm not sure of my computer specs, but my computer can run pretty much every game I have ever put on it on it's highest setting.
If anyone can help, please reply!

Did you try lowering AA to 0 or 1? I read somewhere in the readme that it should / would decrease crashes but idk, I like my game smooth so I haven't tried it. Lowering the settings hasn't worked for me though so I just use max anyway, doesn't decrease my computer's performance that much.
I have the same crashes, happens to me all the time, its annoying as hell but I don't know why you lag. What's your computer specs? (ram, cpu, gpu)
edit: if you have a lot of RAM, you could try this http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=32405

just better performance in-game.

i've found lowering view distance settings seems to help a lot. not that it really improves performance, it does seem to reduce crashes though. And I don’t really need a boost, but I did need the increased stability.
HNY for all
1. start -> run -> type "dxdiag" and enter. Give info about your system OS, ram, cpu, directx ver.
2. Tell more about this CTD. After interior/exterior transmission ? a bit time after teleport spell usage ? after more or less constant period ? In specific places ,for example Enroth ?

In my case,
windows xp64 bit - 6gb ram - intel pentium D 3,2 ghz cpu - directx9.0c , nvidia gt 240 graphics card
It crashes sometimes when I move into new areas (after or in loading screens) and sometimes when I'm doing nothing special - running, killing stuff, standing still, anything basically.
