Overall, I've had a lot of fun in Nehrim (60 hours according to the achievements) and would definitely recommend it. I'm currently stuck, so while my thread waits in Support, I'll supply some feedback.
fixme was a useful command back in Morrowind, telling the game to try to re-position you when you get stuck. I've gotten stuck a lot in Nehrim; not even in odd places, but the early cave has a wall that can suck you in, and there was a rock near the soap gate that I stuck to just by standing on it. tcl helps, but since there are a number of invisible walls already in the game, a few more around potentially-hazardous geometry would have kept me from needing to cheat my way to freedom.
Renaming "Heath" and "Fatigue" to "Life Energy" and "Endurance" was a poor choice in my opinion. Ice Claw being described as +1 Strength in certain captions is also troublesome. When Strength and Endurance already have meanings (base statistics), the names should not be re-used for what is already known to the players as Fatigue and Burden.
Forging: Useless to me because I'm a bow user and there are no bows on the weapon list to make, and I can't even make arrows. It wasn't until I escaped the reservation and found about 2000 Silver Arrows that I could afford to use them as my primary ammunition. Were I able to make them from Silver Ore, I would've had a reason to carry a pickaxe. Thorium Arrow, that would've been funny. Being able to make a staff that can take special enchantments would have been interesting, too.
Mr. B's Plot Armor. Elfie tells me to chase Mr. B up the clock tower. At the top, I crouch and put an x5 arrow between his shoulders and he flies off to certain doom. Or not, because he's still flagged as essential. Despite his fall, he's still engaging in WORDSWORDSWORDS with Elfie, who just arrived and locked me in place. The dialog ends and I figure it's broken so I reload. This time I don't shoot him off, WORDS,

"Elf boy" and the bridge didnt have that problem the first time around but second play through got to close and zap aswell.
Definately a funny and worth reading feedback, hopfully they can sort some of the problems, know ive nerfed some animals in the valley because they were annoying. thanks for the laughs

LOL. That was pretty funny, never saw the chicken murder but had the same problem on the bridge, hehe. Still a very good game even with the quircks.

ViaC wrote:Were wild animals supposed to be so deadly at the beginning? Fields marked "Level 1 to 7" were shredding me to pieces at first. Even blocking did a lot of damage. It was like the film Tremors, jumping from rock to rock because if you touch the ground you get eaten in three seconds. Not that the rocks were safe, since the game will warp the animal onto your rock if you stay there long enough.

Also, do the "LP" books increase your Life Points or Learning Points? I assumed the former at first, then realized you used the term "life energy" not "life points" (I blame watching too much Yu-gi-oh: The Abridged Series).
