cast the spell on the door? havent been able to actually get one of these to work, figured id finally make a post about it. currently trying to use an expert scroll on an expert lock and no matter what i try i cant get it to open the door

Which door do you mean? Not all can be opened like that.

Could you otherwise upload a savegame please?
They're found in ...\Documents\My Games\Enderal\Saves, we'll need the skse and the ess of a manual (no quick- or auto-) save
pack them to a rar or zip archive and attach them to a post here

Doors are wierd, I have had some success by using the scroll on the middle of the door at the very bottom basically half aiming at the door and half aiming at the ground.

I have yet to have a Ondusi scroll work on a door by actually aiming at it.

We would have to try to reproduce the problem. That's why the question of a save.

Same... i aim the scroll on the lower half of the door. But i mean... since i know it is just a problem with the "location of the acutual lock" i quicksave before every attempt to open a lock with a scroll and load new if i aim not right. Repeat this if you need to use more than the first scroll. I not missed more than two times...
So no problem for me.

I do quicksaves, too. The small locks on chests can only be opened if you stand directly in front of it and aim at the lock itself. Doors never did open for me. So I had the same problem.
And the safes in the bank cannot be opened at all with scrolls, I think.

Maybe its a bug for you...

But the bank safes should open with scrolls too. It worked for me.
Aim here under the safe door inside of the wall... on normal chests try to aim on a bit under the textured lock... and for the little jewelery boxes i aim straight on it and it worked allways first try.

I aim on the ground in front of a door or chest. Works fine for me.
