Enderal crashing at loading scren - by WolfyJRB

My enderal is crashing at the loading screen when i click new game i dont know what to do

i got rid of all the mods that I had installed on my skyrim game and the saves and now reinstalling the game without mods to see if it will not crash. Does the skyrim logo coming up mean that there were mods installed?

at least it means that something went wrong with the installation

do i have to remove the esp files of the mods from the skyrim folder or can i keep them in there even though nexus mod manager has them disabled. No mods are active so im reinstalling the game and the update

it should be alright with mods in the Skyrim folder -
to be save I'd suggest you make a copy of that folder and reinstall Skyrim.
(and then Enderal)
you should then be able to replace the clean install with your modded one

but when i load enderal up it does the skyrim logo not the inital loading screen why?

I don't know.
something went wrong with the installation. can't say much more than that.

also, did you take a look at the above linked thread?
if you followed the install - instructions (and reinstalled it by now?) and the issue persists,
then it might be the ini thing.

i reinstalled skyrim and enderal and got it working because it was the ini problem, but when i start the game it comes up with the error about the skse memory fix not being active. How do i stop that from popping up. The game runs fine after that.

i managed to fix it all i had to do was add the skse_loader.exe to steam as a non steam game and put on the launch options -forcesteamloader. Which means i can run it from steam without the error showing up
