Good conversation starter.
Have always liked "Ranger" class characters way back from Dungeons & Dragons. That game of course featured a story-teller (dungeon master) and players who rolled weird looking dice. We had our Nerd Books and players wrote stuff down on-- get this-- tree paper! : D
Anyway, here's Enderal version for this style of play. Always name them "Diana the Hunter" or "Ciaus Valerorius" if playing Paladin style. Not very creative when it comes to names.
---
Diana likes: Satisfying "thunk" of an arrow hitting target & that fx sound + msg "Critical Hit!"
Does not like: (In the middle of combat) "You leveled up!" -- Nice to know, but not when busy like that!
Part of the game though, so plan accordingly. From Monty Python & Holy Grail , "Oh, just a harmless little bunny... SQUEAAL! AAAAH! Runaway! Runaway!"
Been doing quite a bit of maneuvering & running away in this game.
Edit Additional Stuff:
Playthrough #2 (difficulty 3 - Adept?) - Running through game checking side quests now for errors & eventual Wiki pages.
Diana the Hunter
- Half-Kylian (sp-?)
- Alinment: Neutral Good
- Class: 'Well-Traveled One' (Archer / Light Armor) - MP also invested in stealth skills for D&D "Ranger" or military style 'Special Ops' play.
- Modeled on old D&D role playing.
----
Thanks to "Tamira" for suggesting "Take Notes" mod, and "Lord Conti" for making it. (PITA to be taking notes on an iPad while playing the game!)
Special thanks to Dev's for including SkyUI in update. Seems to have MCM 'recognizing' mod now & adding to menu. SKSE & SkyUI version 5.1 weren't doing this before update.

Playthrough #1 (Master difficulty /Neutral Good)
Prince Yurzugol
- Half-Qyranian
- Assassin (blade dance/Infiltrator) + trickster as second priority.
- Has handicraft and lockpicking as crafting skills.
- Modeled somewhat after the Prince of Persia game series.
Born to a high-ranking military family in Qyra, was going to marry the ruler's daughter but things go wrong when the ruler's advisor usurped the throne, exiled the princess, and put the prince and his family in a dungeon then have his family executed. The prince made the escape and fled to Enderal as a stowaway right after he learned that his princess could be there.
The prince had combat training before but his since his imprisonment, his style had to change because of the limited weapons and the less likely chance to survive an open fight, that's why he has to develop blade dancing and infiltration as main skills, then trickster and vagrant as secondary skills.
His "neutral-good" alignment comes from his honorable upbringing, always believes he is representing Qyra and his motivation is noble for the princess, but in combat he prefers to fight in the shadows because most of the time he is outnumbered. He does not risk a chance to be at a disadvantage, he starts a fight by either a bow or sword sneak attack, using surroundings as advantage as the most.
His inner struggles could be him thinking himself is a disadvantage at whatever things he do, either being outnumbered in combat, being a lone traveler to find a princess in a land with such horrible things happening.

Cool. Like how you fleshed him out by giving him some biographical info.
Why didn't I think of that!
Why didn't I think of that!
I've been requested to do that on Oblivion/Skyrim forums, you can watch FudgeMuppet Skyrim builds videos on youtube.
That explains the format. (difficulty level, etc.) Been out of circulation for a long time. Will keep that in mind.
thx

Meet Rugndal, the Sneak Archer/Dual Sword Fighter. Not really modeled after anything. Thought about going for a mage but eventually he came out instead

Wicked looking sword there. Probably fun getting it. : )
There's actually a sword I like so much, Morales Edge or something like that. As one of the quest reward choices of recovering ancient artifacts, but later it was overpowered by my own crafted sword.
