Does SureAI allow any Joe Schmo to assist in the game's translation, or do they just want people to submit bug reports and have their internal team take care of it? I've noticed many discrepancies in the english dialogue/subtitle cohesion, as well as things that could perhaps be phrased better (as well as things that simply weren't translated at all). This seems like busy body work more than anything, and though I don't have tons of extra time, I wouldn't mind helping out in this fashion if I could.

As a sidenote (and in case anyone from the team sees this post), I think it would be a good idea to have an English paypal portal for donating. When you click on donate, and then the big donate now with paypal button, it takes you to a German paypal page (with the donation amount in euros).

Sorry if this wasn't the correct place to ask this question, but I bet other people out there are wondering the same thing.

Great work guys! I don't get how you can do stuff like this for free.
Hey there :-)

While help in general is appreciated, trying to get sb into this is not that easy right now when you finally have an useful and steady work order. I am currently writing a how-to-do guide for the translation and once I am finished I can send you the link to it ;-) Then you can decide again if you want to help and if the team agrees there is a good chance that we will get back to you.

For the discrepancies, honestly tickets are the best way to fix them. I am fixing them while playing but recently I have 0 time to do so, hence I totally depend on tickets/reports. (what we have in the subtitles are the actual scripts we sent to the VAs, unfortunately there are many places in which they strayed from the script, hence the issue with the wrong subs)

The things which could have been phrased better - please put them in reports in our tracker :-)! While we have English proofreaders for our books, load screens and other miscellaneous things, better sentences are always appreciated.

Like 95% of all German currently left in the EV is not localizeable right now - the next big patch will fix many of them but not all, the rest will be patched further down the line in other patches :-)
Thanks for the reply Caleb. When you get the how-to guide done, definitely send me a link.

I mainly was just curious if SureAI was even interested in external translation help.

As far as the things which could be phrased better: when it comes down to what the best way to say a particular thing is, it boils mostly down to opinion, and I fully acknowledge that.

What I think would work great is some kind of version control system (like git) where any user can propose changes, and the owner can review the changes and approve them if they are acceptable. I will look into this and try to come up with some kind of proposal.
Any chance you can send me link to how-to guide? I would appreciate it.
