I made it my first priority to get a good house early on and saved up money. The house in the market place isn't too bad. But the house in the noble's quarter is only pretty and with very little function. There is no good storage anywhere, I can't click on any barrels or anything to store stuff, only use the crafting benches and the bed or the books in the bookshelves. I tried to add chests of my own for storage but it just gives me a message in german. I looked into trying to furnish the house myself instead from an earlier save, but couldn't find a blueprint for the forge and workbench etc. only the alchemists lab and enchanting table I think if I remember correctly.

Is the housing system/furnishings still being built or something? How do I get the blueprints for all the crafting stations? Is there a way to get a garden for a source of herbs/ingredients so I don't have to go looking for them all the time? Is there a way to add storage to the prefurnished house? Or is my house storage just broken?

I can't play skyrim or any bethesda game without a good home base, and I don't think I will be able to properly enjoy enderal without at least some storage near the crafting stations and other home improvements. I can't just dump everything in the secure chest. It's too messy and further away from the crafting stations than I would like. I would prefer to buy the house and pay to furnish it with everything I need from the start than have to furnish it myself.
Unfortunately that is how it is currently. There are no blueprints for all the crafting stations (just the enchanting table) but there is at least a mod for an alchemist's table blueprint out there - maybe more will follow. There is also no garden and the positioning system is a little bit buggy as well. I think housing is on a low priority for the devs too right now. A practical home would have been great but we'll have to do without one until someone decides to simply mod one in. The storage chests and the recall spell work well enough to live without a home. But it also feels a bit cheap.
Ah alright then. Thanks for the quick reply.
The newer version of the afore mentioned mod adds blueprints for most of the crafting stations, though it is currently only available in german. It should work with the english version though, if you don't mind some german names.
