Does anyone on the Enderal art team have the original version of the Symbol of the Holy Order that is found on THIS page in the wiki?
For preference I am looking for a clean version of the symbol without the fabric background as I want to use it in Photoshop as a mask for a texture and I would prefer a clean version that I don't have to edit to get rid of the textured fabric.
Do the Holy Order ever use it without the sword through it? The wiki does not mention the sword at all so I wondered whether it was always used or not.

don't know about the original Version, sorry;
only thing I can contribute is that Malphas (according to his statues)
had just the eye and sword (without the rays/beams) on his armor.

It is interesting to hear about the use of the symbol, thank you.
It is almost as if Malphas had the eye for "I can see what you are doing" and the sword for "and I will smite you if you do something bad" whereas the symbol that the faithful use adds the flames for "the wisdom and light of Malphas" and the serpent to say that he "looks after us from birth to death".
I will see what I can do without the original texture then but it will be extra work.

I used this here for the map.
don't know if it's of any use to you
(of course not the best, but it worked for me

Thank you - I may be able to use that (after flipping it on a vertical axis to match the way the wiki has the snake).
It is probably pretty close to what I would have got trying to capture the lighter colour on the wiki texture.

do you want to check out the psd?
doubt it would help you anymore than the png does, though.

I remembered about the Colour Match tool and have managed to grab a respectable mask off the original PNG and am cleaning it up at the moment.
I don't need perfect crisp edges like when using the Pen Tool but I think I will be happy with what I have. Thanks for linking the PSD though.

I ended up with this as a mask after some editing. It is not totally true to the original but works well...

nice work
