Hi, i just started the quest but i cant progress when i get to the guy on the road. My companions just stands there and does nothing, the quest wont progress. Is this a known bug or is there something im missing?

On the way through the forest where you find the 'traveler' in the road before you reach the holy site, I went and explored the ruin just beside the road, killed some Arps (or whatever they're called), and when I came back, the three NPCs and the man were all frozen at the exact moment that the bolt of lightning is supposed to hit. I can't interact with any of the three order NPCs, I can kill the man but it doesn't affect them in any way, and I can't progress past this point.
I already have done this quest before (part of the reason I was exploring was because I died in the 'dream' and got set back to the beginning of the quest), so I'm fine with just skipping this part of the quest, but I don't know what the quest IDs are.

While playing Enderal I have encountered no bugs related to quests, until this one.
After speaking to Signet leader Jorek Bartarr and the two examenees, and following them to the forest I receive no vision.
Moreover after killing the second Pus Bettle the Signet leader and examenees refuse to walk further and thus making me stuck at this point of the quest.
I have however, quite a long time ago, killed the first Pus Bettle at the start of the forest path.
I hope there is anything which can be done to progress further than this point.
Edit: used console scripts, player.sqs MQ05 and Player.Setstage MQ05 to different stages and I managed to progress the quest and spawned the NPC. bit annoying I had to "Cheat" but it worked.

edit* I got stuck on the same quest but restarting the game fixed my issue.
Disable Mods/ENBs. -> Reload
If it's still buggy upload your savegame.
