I chose the talent for devour soul and have been using it for a bit but the spell effect is really over the top and distracting.
It blurs the screen and makes the target explode and the loot around it flies all over the place.

I have tried modding it myself but it didn't work.

Could anyone help me out?

Yeah, it bothers me a lot too, had to reload often because some items flew into the stratosphere And using it in battle blurs your vision. This spell fills you with the power of your enemies, your vision should increase for a moment instead of decrease.
