"Affine" Classes?
Post by AceEducator »
So...I think I unlocked the "Seraph" class, which is great because I was hoping my two combos would make an affine class.

Just a question...the tip said I get my own unique spells...but I do not see any unique memory tree, is it just the passive buff?

There are no special memory trees, but you receive a spell (or one is upgraded) or a new ability.
According to the German Wiki, Seraph strengthens light magic; and it increases heavy armor, life and mana. If you look at your character page, you should see that these last 3 have increased over what they were before you gained the affine. I suppose your light magic now does more, perhaps if you have a save from before you gained the affinity you could check what a few of the light magic spells do and compare that to what they do now.

There are posts in some Q&A threads around here by members of the SureAI team and also comments in SureAI devblog videos where they do say that there are new skill trees that you can unlock if you can find the appropriate combinations of memories and talents to choose in the current skill trees. Some of these comments from SureAI are a bit old ... so I am curious if those new skill trees are still in the game or if perhaps they removed them before release.

It has been a while since I last played the game but I unlocked Seraph as well (and another swordsman class of which I have no idea what the English name might be). Seraph is one of those classes that just give you increased stats. But supposedly there are others where certain talents from the original skill trees receive an additional effect under specific conditions (like... cast talent A, then immediately spell B => a combo is executed). That applies to classes like arcane archer or black mage for example (if I'm not mistaken with these two).

A bit disappointed that I've put 10 points into both Infiltrator and Trickster perks, but didn't get an affine class :/ Stealthy archer is my favourite thing to be, and I was convinced that it'd be an affine class but evidently not.
Stealthy archer may not be an Affine class, but you can do it, so to speak, by taking the appropriate archer skills and sneak skills. My archer does 3.8x damage from undetected stealth, and that's without anything extra I might get from criticals.

Stealthy archer(Infiltrator and Trickster) is still very powerful even without affine class. You simply can't die after you unlocked flash power and eye of the storm. With lockpicking and rhetorics improvement, money comes pretty EZ and you need a lot of money to buy those skill books.

PS: I am also playing stealthy archer(iron path), lvl 17 and killed my 1st dragon with ease. Now considering to build an arcane archer since I already got enough perks for stealthy archer.
