I recently downloaded and installed the Nehrim Total Conversion Mod and have been having a terrible time getting it to function appropriately.
The game starts and loads just fine and I am in the middle of the character creation process (this is not consistent, but most often when this problem occurs) and after a while of making edits to my character's appearance, my mouse just locks up. The game seems to be running just as smooth as before, but my mouse is completely unmovable. As a result, I am forced to force close the game and start again. At one time I rushed the character creation process and just went into the game and after a while (probably 15 minutes or so from when the game first started) it does the same thing. The mouse locks up and I am unable to play the game further.
This seems like a fascinating addition to the game but at this level it is completely unplayable for me. Is there something that can be done about this? I've seen maybe one other related post on the forum for this problem and it wasn't solved, I have no idea what to do further.

not that i'm all that good at the tec stuff, but i'll give this a shot.
try going into the oblivion.ini file (default loc for win7 would be C:\users\user\my documents\my games\oblivion\oblivion.ini), find the line stating "bUse Joystick=1" and change it to bUse Joystick=0. hmm... can't remember if there is a space between joystick and =. assuming you havent done this already that is. if that's not the issue, i don't know what to tell you.

i have the same problem, except that my keyboard stop working too.
