WOW.
I just spent about three hours completing the journey through the underworld and I was utterly blown away.
I was RIVETED to my screen the whole time. The sheer beauty of each stage of the journey had my eyes as big as dinner plates. I was literally sad to find out a bunch of my screenshots got overwritten because I had to keep restarting the game (heat issues)!
The little nod to lord of the rings with the horn and the "cave troll" had me squealing like a fanboy. To be honest I felt just like the fellowship going through Moria. "It's a three day journey to the other side."
Felt like it took about three days, too!
And I utterly enjoyed every minute. Never been so blown away with a mod before. The underworld journey really knocked my socks off, though. Just incredible.
I also love the fact that the dungeons are so unique and there's ALWAYS a little bit of cheese for me at the end of every dungeon. Makes it worth it!

I have to agree with the original poster 100%. By far one of the top highlights of the game. I wasn't expecting it to be as long as it was, but when it finally ended, I was disappointed.
You guys did an absolutely incredible job on this mod! As I've said on other forums, this is what Oblivion should have been. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels Bethesda would greatly benefit from your talent and vision, especially with Skyrim right around the corner.

This quest was incredible - so well designed, and I loved the lord of the rings influences also. I was not expecting something so epic so early on in the game.
Only slight criticism is that when you actually arrive in Anku, there's not a lot to it. After all the buildup, it would've been nice to see a really grand and monumental city with enormous halls. Although the ship you see on the way out was cool.

I suppose you were disappointed that it ended, not disappointed with the quest itself
I am going to start this quest very soon... as soon as I discover where to buy an Aeterna Torch!
ok, it was really awesome.. MOST of it, not all.
i thought that first part where all the trolls come, then you somehow appear right over a hole, and then fall some 3 km at over 1000 km/h to be quite silly. And then you fall at that speed over some thick wood and you survive. Yeah right.
aside that and the Underworld Train, I think all the rest of the Underworld is a LESSON to Bethesda on how to do dungeons.
in fact, Nehrin has PLENTY of epic dungeons and locations, you know, with a sense of magic, of grandeur, of fantastic and fantasy. None to be seen on Oblivion. The real medieval europe had more impressive buildings and locations than the Elder Scrolls Series.

All I got was headaches and hoping it will end soon S:
For AcesHigh: Sorry for the dubious 'double-meaning' comment. You are correct that I was disappointed because it ended.
For the developers: Awesome mod! When do you think the next update might be? I've pretty much finished the game, pending any further developments. This is definitely worth a replay in about a year while I try to forget everything about it. I'd like to experience it 'fresh' again.
