Hey people,
I'll grant TheGunnerBoat the rights in a minute. Thanks for the message Paulina!
Edit: Done. Enjoy further editing, TheGunnerBoat.
And I guess I'm not the only one who has extreme lag on Wikia sites? It appears to be on the entire Wikia network for me.

Thanks Tom/Shatar!
Yes, Wikia has a tendency to be extremely laggy at the weekends... probably too many people editing then:P
And Gunnar, at the right bottom part of Wikia you have 'My Tools' Take a look there. And now you shoul have more options (a small arrow down) on the 'edit' button. For example delete a page or protect it.

Belated Happy New Year to everyone.
Wiki looks great.
Not going to be doing much to contribute for a while. Just returned home with a virus or two plus a couple of dozen mosquito/sand fly bites.
Going to check over thread and wiki and see where I can fit in. Need to start playing from start again (was hoping might have been an update to English version, just have to make some more customized characters).
Hope not saying here what you might already know, but in CS editor if you tick Nehrim english esp as active and organise by name in spells, armour etc you should see a lot more English. Of course when right click to edit still in German.

The trouble with CS is that is mainly in German
Hawk! How delighted you're back with us! Take your time and take a look what has changed with Wikia and what you'd like to take care of
Garnet and Gunner are doing marvellous job with Places.
And day by day we've learned ( special thanks to Toxic) how to create more complicated tables like here: http://nehrim.wikia.com/wiki/The_Soul_Flayer
I'm finally finishing Main Quest, but, if you do not mind, I would like to add more to your walkthroughs and do the missing ones. Still I see people have problem with the Rat Quest.
Unfortunately, Blink has vanished without a trace and Side Quests are mainy edited by contributors, who are doing a great job, but we will need to revise them to give them more unified layout probably.
PS. In Wiki Help added section : German-English translation needed. If any of you encounters Gemrman text/book that you would like translated, put it there. Maybe someone will write the translation.

Ok got the idea, I'll wait longer for any action about lost pages.
And thanks for the Admin rights.

Hi, Hawk,
Templates are for making your life easier on Wikia
,just trying to have uniform pages for certain themes.
Templates are for making your life easier on Wikia
Yes, templates make our life definitely easier.
Let's assume that you want to create an article on one of the Creatures. Instead of WRITING all the time in every page:
Description
Found
Items Dropped
Notes
Tips
You simply write only : subst:Creatures <--check in Preview, Save. Then you can edit the page with all the headings ready for you.
Thanks to templates you don't have to check how previous pages are 'constructed' , because everyone is using templates.
And, Hawk, if you're not sure what to tackle on Wikia, I can give you some ideas !
1) You're a native speaker, would be great if you could review my 'finished' main quest articles. I don't use any programmes that would correct spelling mistakes, so there must be plenty of them. And possibly some structures may seem unnatural.
2) You're a CS user, so again, huge advantage over most of us. Only Garnet is using it. And as I can see a lot of interesting information (price, weight, base damage for weapons) can be found there.
3) Photos of people. A huge and ambitious enterprise started by Garnet to have a database of all NPCs in Nehrim.
4) I love your humorous descriptions in your slideshows. I know its Wiki, supposed to be an accurate source of information, but it doesn't have to be dead serious. Feel free to add some funny captions to my slideshows/photos if anything comes to your mind.
5) Again, I noticed you use mods to Nehrim, right ? Maybe you could contact the lady who prepared the one with cats or other modders on Nexus so that we could add their mods to our Wiki (Mods for Nehrim section).
6) Items page -- > a lot to choose from:p Magic, the same.
Hope you will find something that suits you

Hi
Thanks for the run down on templates.
Not feeling 100% yet, the viruses I picked up on my travels are still with me. Also, I now find myself unemployed and desperately need to find some work before my money dries up (which is soon).
On to happier things.
1) I'll start to look through some of the articles. Although even being a "native", I come from an area with a strongish dialect, so I do find Shatar and your own use of English grammar better than my own sometimes.
2) Does anyone know of a way to copy/export the spreadsheets from Tes4Edit. Just asking, because if you use NehrimEnglish esp in Tes4Edit you can see a complete spreadsheet of all weapons, armour etc.
3) Nice one Garnet. Once I start the game from beginning again I will start taking screenshots/ info on all characters I meet.
4) I am definitely not used to being flattered. Thankyou
5) Just a thought. Instead of contacting separate modders, how about asking in modders threads for them to contribute to Wiki section. edit: Just put request in modders section. If we do not get any uptake, I will take some time and go through mod section, as there are a few mods out there now (use a couple myself) and contact modders separately.

One advantage a native speaker has over someone who learned is your instinctive use of words such as "also"/"too" (its still hard for me to know when to use which), the usage of adjectives such as "sound" (i know what it means, but i have no idea when it can be used and what for, there is no direct translation, you need to translate it depending on context), and other small things like that. Pretty much anything you cant learn from a book, but only from listening to native speakers.
