I searched the forums to see if anyone else encountered this problem but could not find any relating info. When my character enters an indoor location, I can hear the fire crackling and the flute-like music playing in the inns/taverns. However when I bring up a menu (bartering, inventory, main menu etc.) the sound effects cease and don't come back unless I exit the building and then re-enter. This is a real bummer b/c these sounds add much more immersion that was sorely lacking in vanilla oblivion. VO's inns/taverns were pretty lifeless IMO.
I just wanted to see if anyone else was experiencing the same problem and if there is a known fix. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I'm indeed experiencing the same... It's a shame that the whole atmosphere of an indoor location gets removed just by opening a menu.
