Hi,
Whenever I am in a hostile place, e.g if I have been captured in a quest and I am escaping, nothing attacks me. Not in the wilderness, caves, not even bandits. Could this be due to me having maxed personality?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, it could be. Or it could be due to a high sneak skill (including armor boni). Usually things that should attack you have aggression 70 or 80.
Ah thanks. My sneak skill and personality are completely maxed out. Still though, even if I blatantly run in front of them, or if i even talk to them, nothing happens. I might try lowering boths stats using the console and see what happens.
I've experienced this since very early in the game, and am still experiencing it with a Sneak skill in the low 50s and Personality in the mid-70s. When I was walking around with Kim with the same-ish stats, almost everything would attack her before me. There seems to be kind of an order to it, though: rats and crabs never attack me, diseased deer initially attacked me but don't anymore, human enemies vary in their responses (often I would find a group of three bandits, two of whom wouldn't attack until the third saw me and drew his weapon) but seem to have become less likely to attack me over time, and most types of beasts and undead attack me either often or always. I also stumbled across a cave, the Enclave/Vault of Jenada, where none of the druids, spriggans, and spider spriggans attacked except for the "boss", but that might have been intentional.
DJ_McLovin: You might also try drawing your weapon when you see enemies. Everything that doesn't attack me will attack when I do so.

Thanks for the reply
I have tried running straight in front of them, swinging my sword in front of their noses, and talking to them.
They just say something like 'I don't want any trouble!' and then I smack them in the face with my hammer.
I am at a loss really. Oh well. I guess I'll have to go through the game being able to kill anything in about 5 hits because I crit so much.

Just ran into this myself. Definitely Personality-related, the Seraph ghosts and Aeterna in Treomar won't attack unless I draw my weapon. Using the console to set my Personality from 80 to 30 fixed the problem and a check of their disposition put it at 60.
The easiest way to fix it would probably be to add a universal enemy faction with -100 disposition towards the player so it's impossible for them to like you that much. Or, you know, just ramp up their aggression.
