So, I've beat the game, which is amazing (though some things are left unexplained, like how the heck did kim end up in the shadow realm (that place is the shadow realm right?) and what happened to arantheal and the other souls in the flayer post game and some stuff like that.
I take my hat off to the devs, I was honestly surprised when the credits end-game were so short, and that view of erothin by the tomb was (y)
so anyway, here's my question, I go into the hut and talk to Arkt, and the option "Shadow god" comes up, albeit whatever arkt says isn't translated, and I don't think I can get the conversation option again (spoke to him again, don't recall getting it) so.... What exactly does he say? o_o

I'd like to know this too, but it seems no one found your question.
Since I want to know too, I'll bump it.

Ending of the game was great, but it would be nice to know exactly what Arkt said.
I've never played a mod like this, it took me about 45 hours to clear the main quest. Just incredible.
On the same note (obviously more spoilers), does anyone know if you get any actual powers as the shadow god? It was kind of strange to get this title that does seemingly nothing and still take 3 hits to kill giant bats. You'd think the shadow gods would be more omnipotent
Either way, game was awesome, an improvement over Oblivion in so many ways, and immeasurably better than anything in the Gothic series.

Hi.
Saw this response to similar question on forum.
Also have seen question about Arkts end speech. Maybe it would be worth google translating your question to German and asking in that part of forum?

As for why we can't overcome some things, it's explained if I read it correctly that by destroying the predisposition and fate we effectively destroyed any kind of god status including shadow god
