This is one of the nastiest quest bugs that I've encountered.
When the quest starts, you get a quest marker on Calisto. You also get all the objectives in the quest log, even though Calisto didn't mention the spell yet.
I followed Calisto for a while, then the quest marker disappears. So I thought: Well, I guess we split now. I searched a few ruins, nada. Then I found the right one, but it said that it "needs a key" WTF. I didn't know that it was the right ruin.
So I wondered around for a few in game hours, then I finally found Kim and Calisto just sitting there. He then tells me: Yeah, we need to split, here is the spell. And I get a quest marker on the temple that said "needs a key". So somehow the door has magically unlocked?? Doesn't make much sense.
Anyway, I TCLed my way to the temple, found the portal and stuff, but now it is 4:45 am, and I guess we are supposed to do all the stuff and get out during the night. Is this the case? If so, the only option I have is to use the "set timescale to 0" command, finish my stuff, then switch it back to the default value, right?

... and in that moment player controls should disappear and Callisto should start talking to you. It's strange that it hasn't happened.

There is no hurry in this quest.
Hmm.. Well, I was waiting for Kim, who was a bit behind, and I was a bit far from Calisto. Maybe that's why it didn't happen? I had a similar bug in Fallout 3, where an NPC couldn't make it in time to a cutscene, and the quest wouldn't progress to the next part.
So there is no time limit for the quest? Because initially Calisto said we must go in and out in a night, so I assumed we must do it by dawn then get out.
