Hi.
I am trying to create a new character and have downloaded some clothing mods I believe more suitable for the race/character.
So far I have extracted the meshes and textures. Can add them to the CS editor and place them in my safe chest to check out.
But when the CS editor adds/creates new form, it puts them anywhere and everywhere under clothes. Is there any way to force the CS editor to put the into folders, i.e sorcerer / sorcerer hoods? Can you move items you add to different folder if placed in wrong position?
I'm trying out so much stuff it is getting difficult to keep track of where everything is this way.
Thank you.
p.s I must admit to feeling a little weird constantly dressing up my character. A bit like a girl playing with dolls. But honestly all I want to do is learn how to us this editor correctly.

You can edit the CS new name for the item form ID yourself. Lots of people will put something like aaaLisnpuppyHood01 then aaaLisnpuppyhood02 or something like this. That way the items will all be batched together in the CS listing.
I hope that helps.

Hi.
Thanks for the response.
I have been renaming them similarly, but I was hoping to be able to keep them in separate folders. I have something like 20 or so robes/ boots etc trying out. Naming some THArchMage_01/ 02 etc, some THsorceress_01/ 02 etc and would have preferred to have folders such as ArchMage and Sorceress in which to place them and find them easily.

Sorry I misunderstood.
WAIT!!!

try this
Also make shure the the "_gnd" or world model is in the same folder for it to create a new catagory in CS to, so if its new robes either just copy and paste one from somewhere else into the folder. ( youlll notice alot of mosd tend to reuse ppl's like r18pn_gnd)
Hi.
Thanks for your help folks.
I'm going to have to try it out when I reinstall everything (again!!!!!). Just commited the cardinal sin of installing a mod without backing up mty data. Installed a body replacer and forgot I already had one installed. Screwed up all my textures.
Only way to learn. I guess.
