Hello everybody!

I have just downloaded your game and I am absolutely thrilled. The game seems to be this close to perfect. Many improvements against original Obilivion were made (I especially appreciate the new inventory look). I have played it for 3 hours or so and the game crashed 3 or 4 times. No big deal. But since I finally have reached the Abbey, everything went wrong. The game crashes almost instantaneously (after playing for several seconds when I agree to goblins quest, one minute of playing when I do everything to avoid this quest).

I have the Steam version of Oblivion and I installed Nehrim according to your commands. As I learnt from another forums, I am not the only one with this problem.

Can anybody please help me?

Nehrim version: Nehrim_v1.0.7.5_english.exe

My PC specifications: AMD Phenom II X4 945 (not overclocked), 2x 2GB Kingston HyperX RAM (1333 MHz, DDR3), ATI HD 5770 (Sapphire) 1 GB DDR5 RAM, Gigabyte GA-790FTXA-UD5 motherboard, Windows 7 Professional 64bit.

I thank you in advance for your help.

Martin
Hi

I'm not a forum techie, but have tried to help in different posts on performance issues.http://www.sureai.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=87&t=3512.

A couple of tips that might help. Try one at a time.

1 - Turn off autosave - found in inventory diary. (remeber to save manually regularly until you know its helped)
2 - Latest graphic card drivers.
3 - If your using ffdshow filter on your machine, google to see how to disable it for Nehrim only.
4 - Since Nehrim is using Oblivion engine, check Oblivion tweak wiki to see if any suggestions there for your type of set-up

Hope something here helps. If not hope someone else can.
Thank you very much, it worked. It seems that the autosave feature was the source of all the evil.
And now, the goblins...
