I found this minimap mod in the German section, but my German isn't good enough to figure out how to install it since it is only an xml file. Could someone translate the essential points on installing it? I would think there should be no conflict with the English version.

The xml file is not the mod. Just copied everything into google translate to check. I am no modder and it would take a while to translate even from google to 100% English. But it does look to entail extracting archives, copying bsa files and scripting in the cs editor.

Well, after 10 minutes faffing about. Decided to create an omod (first time). Then after a lot of cursing realised it was installed to Oblivion directory.
Nice mod for someone who has no sense of direction.

Ooh! I have to pick this up too. It'll save me from opening the map 6000 times a session. I might get down to 2000 times with this installed

*Edit* Nevermind ... sigh ... seems my resolution isn't fully supported (1366x768) and that contriubuted to my problems. Once I figure that out, it will be perfect.

Could always try windowed mode in a resolution that is supported.

Sorry, guess I should have been more specific. You can create your own resolution settings, but I just didn't have the time to look into it when I posted. It was very easy to do while following the documentation.
