I'm doing a texture replacer for some of the flora, i put the fern .dds files in /textures/plants where they're supposed to be, but Nehrim don't care about those files at all, it only reads them if i rename the oblivion texture .bsa-file to something it can't read, so it prioritizes the .bsa over my textures, why?
The grass textures i can replace without problems it seems (and Quarn's textures works without problems i think), but fern and some of the leaves textures seems hopeless to replace for some reason. I've created normalmaps for these textures too (those who has it per default), naming them like the default ones.
Any help would be great.

You need to add the texture path into the ArchiveInvalidation.txt! You can see how it's done once you take a look inside it.

Ah, that's right. It's been so long since i messed around with Oblivion that i've forgotten about that file altogether
