The "Sword of Goth" (or something similar) is an endgame item.
Not that i don't appreciate you hijacking my thread the moment after i wrote a wall of text consering something.. you know, usefull... but now that you know that you will get the sword through the main quest line towards the end of the game, stop asking about it here... as not to think that my efforts were completley useless, ill paste what i wrote that i would like some honest oppinions about here:

"Oh an idea for requirements... you know how in oblivion, certain items could be delivered as part of a quest, and then you would recieve another? how about you make strong weapons (named ones at least) have such a requirement, say the weapon were found in a "rusty" or "bound" state, and then you could return to say, a smith or what have you who would inform you through the "require a stronger champion" quest type found in daedra statues in oblivion, that you did not meet the level requirement, say have the smith option to "reforge" or w/e say "requires lvl 12" etc.

Another solution is to use the current spell rune system and the spell rank system. you would find a broken weapon (misc item) and upon clicking on it, you were informed that you require weapon/armor mastery I-VII. which, depending on what limitations you guys have with the engine, would be unlocked ether by level, or by a combination of blade/blunt/block/heavy/light armor/marksman and str/end/agility etc. level requirement would be enough, but it would be very cool (and give real incentive to build your character a certain way) if your journal could tell you the requirements to advance to a higher mastery... say "weapon mastery III blade 50 - blunt 50 - Marksman 40 STR 60 Agility 40" or "weapon mastery VII - blade 100 blunt 100 block 75 Marksman 100 STR 100 Agility 80" and same logic for armor mastery, which would also include block. Each mastery allows you to click on the misc weapon/armor item and add it to its respective inventory tab since you have now "mastered it"

Idk... good idea? bad? because i always hated in oblivion how any weapon and gear could be used once you got it... mean honestly, a 30 str breton mage using a deadric warhammer weighing in at 80 or some odd weight units... Please impliment weapon stats to balance and give the added joy of character builds... At least my second suggestion might be possible, as long as it is possible to edit the spell tome string to add to invt instead of your spellbook."
getting a lot of feedbck here huh
"Oh and.. did you follow the main quest to get it? or was it hidden in some obscure ruin?"

its a special mob, a boss type, who u meet traveling on a road in northrealm- a so called ghost rider, with his own ghost horse:)(wich, by the way, u can ride after u kill his master, cool, no:)?) anyway , he gives u not only the bet weapon in game, but 2 pieces of best quality armor: prophet boots and prophet helm; and i was stuck with them till late, almost the end of the game, when i switched to something else for the sake of diversity and because i was bored; so, no quest, no ruin; my advise, if u encounter him, dont kill him, resist the temptation

The owner is also one of the hardest NPC in the game. So the loot quality is not that extreme and follows the "If you can get it you can use it" way of Nehrim.
what the hell? i thought i asked you bums not to hijack my thread... take it to a PM
lol, it was ur own question i quoted
I love the thing in TES games and in Nehrim that if you are a 5 lvl weak mage, and you find a daedric cuirass, you can use it. If you're smart enough to get one in low level, you deserve it. And even if you have good weapons or armors, it dos not make the game that easy. And if getting those weapons were too easy for you, put the difficulty level harder. Makes the game more fun too ;)
