I've noticed when casting a spell in certain areas my FPS dies. I was wondering if there were any settings in the NVidia control panel that could alleviate this i.e antistropic filtering etc. As you might tell GPU's are not my thing. So any help would be gratefully accepted. ( 2 x gt9800 / SLI mode ).
Try out the new GeForce/ION Release 260 BETA v260.63,
my GTX460 with default Oblivion profile - and ingame all settings at maximum, i lost only 4 FPS by spellcasting.

Thanks for the heads up. Did a few tests. Took three Frap benchmarks at different savegames I had with old drivers, installed new drivers and re-benchmarked ( not very scientific ). Improved a couple of FPS on two, no improvement on other. But ran 3DMark06 and scored over 700 more than last 3D benchmark.
