Yeah, i'm lvl 13 or 14 atm, wondering when i can start crafing from silver ingots, and then at what point i can craft from gold/thorium.. does these unlock by level?
I have armorer 76 atm, got all tools and can craft from iron ingots. I'm guessing vine brewing etc will come once i leave the sanctum/lowland area.
Now, onto some praise! must say... this mod is, professional... like, its better than most games by small developers, heck its better than some high budget titles. to think what you guys could have done with propper founding and the liscence/tools/expertise to modify the engine itself.
I do feel that oblivion's bad combat mechanics catch up to the immense premise however, hopefully some mods like deadly reflex or the like. I adore the take you took on signs, and i love the warrior ones. But frienzy seams underwhelming, if only a temp attack speed buff was possible!.
One last question, what are the highest leveled enemies in this game? and where can they be found? i'm already mainly killing lvl 18-21 enemies, which means by lvl 40 i would have to fight lvl 50 ish enemies to maintain the challenge.
PS, how is mage gameplay?

anyone know? can i craft better weapons at lvl 100 armorer? or will it be unlocked like the spell levels?
you'd think that i was not the only one wanting to craft gold/thorium weapons... do anyone know?
I think most users are still at the crafting ingot stage, so you are more advanced them most. Do you have any tips you have learned regarding crafting?
well.. currently i can craft tools and steel weapons from iron ingots.. which is a great boon early in the game. would cost you like, 13 LP to get to jorneyman (at which point you can start smithing) i believe craft weapons > found/bought weapons too. so from lvl 1-10, its like i said, a great boon. and Evryone should at the very least get 75 armorer (craft) skill to gain a 25% efficency bonus on all your gear.
Now i'm about ready to try and become a master armorer. at which point i assume, i can start making silver/gold (ebony i think) weapons. not to mention thorium, once i get the ingots.
Not seen an option to craft armor or bows/arrows yet though. Also it seams that you need to read some kind of book to unlock mine crafting.

wow. i have been ignoring crafting. have not played oblivion in years. I am thinking I just need a hammer and bad armor to start the process, right? if I remember the hammers in oblivion break quick. crap I sold I lot of hammers so far.
so when you say you spent 13 lp in crafting, where do you go to spend the lp. I have like 40 saved up. I am level 8.

well, i started out with 25 craft, by the time i began using LP on armorer i had 26. each LP = 2 armorer skill. so you would only need 26-50= 24/2 = 12 LP to get it from, in my case 26 to 50. so its really not a horrible deal, and assuming higher craft is possible, very much needed investment. (get it to 75 tho, like i said. will help your gear out immensly)
To level armorer you have two options, one early one later. the early option is the smith in gillan? or whatever that town was called... the one with the spider cave, east of the larger walled city, the one you have to pass to get to the sanctum.
The later option is in the capitol, the sweapon smith/salesman teaches you.
Also, i tested with 100 armorer, but i still cannot craft silver/gold/thorium... is this even in the game? it would be dumb if it was not considering you can make the ingots... anyone know?

AFAIK it still has to be implemented in a future patch unfortunately.
hmm well no damage done, i did not waste LP making armorer to lvl 100, stopped at lvl 75.. still, considering that even sliver weapons can then be crafted at a low level (silver being a strong weapon even for the early lvl 20's...) then gold weapons which i assume can be crafted at armorer 75 or 100 will totally unbalance the game if you get it at any level shy of 30.. will the craft be unlocked by level after iron crafting? like lvl 15 or 20 for silver, 25 or 30 for gold.. 40? thorium? (idk how high your level will be by end game)
