Hi, I already verified game files, but still have bug after returning from the old world. Back in the ancient man's mansion, and he's there. But to end the quest I have to talk to him. Can't open the door or teleport away. Problem is: the dialogue line "Wait... how did I get here?" CAN NOT be selected. I tried clicking on it, pressing ENTER, etc but cannot talk to the man and end the quest. Therefore my character and play-through is ruined. Cannot progress the game any further.

Please help!

Standard questions: are you using any mods or have you used cheats?

Did you try to load an earlier save and replay the scene?

Otherwise, please upload a suitable savegame (under the message window as a file attachment).
They're found in ...\Documents\My Games\Enderal\Saves
We'll need the *.ess and the *.skse file.
Best a manual save (no auto or quicksave).
Pack both to a zip or rar archive (the forum doesn't accept *.skse).

I never use cheats - why bother playing a game if you need to cheat?
But I'm using a few mods:
- Better Ark Market
- Dead body collision
- Enderal player home
- Enderal player upper house
- Interesting Mod
- JCD Enderal enable wait no heal

Yes, I loaded earlier saves and tried again. Tried a few times with manual and autosaves.
And I tried that again with all mods disabled but it made no difference.

It works for us.
Try it after your arrival at the house before starting the dialogue with F5 / F9

If that doesn't work, uninstall your mods (not just deactivate them) and let Steam again verify your game files.
If one of your mods does cause the problem.

After manually deleting the mod files, it worked again.

Great that it worked
Some mods change scripts and leave remnants even after deactivation.

If you find out which mod caused the problem with you, please let us know (also for other players).

Ok, if I work it out I'll let you know.

New problem though, now that I tried re-subscribing to mods in the Steam workshop they don't install properly and don't appear in Enderal's launcher data file section.
So now I can't enjoy a few mods anymore!

Does it help if you restart Steam or the PC?
