The only way I even know about this quest is because I ran across a reference to it in the wiki. I grabbed the key that's supposed to start it off at the expected point during the main questline, but it didn't actually start. I guess I can just go to Yero's tower on my own and run through it, but given (as I have learned) the connection to one of the possible endings I'm wondering if the lack of a quest is going to affect that.

Edit: Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. It occurred to me it perhaps should have gone in the support forum.

hi, welcome to the forum!

do you have a save before opening the box?
even if you don't want to replay half of the game it would be useful for bugfixing :)

thank you!

Unfortunately, I do not, apart from autosave0 which probably isn't that useful.
if the autosave before that, can you load it and then save it manually?

autosave0, which at least in my playthrough is never overwritten as other autosaves regularly are, seems to have happened sometime during the very first quest in the game, "A Nice Day in Summer". I assume it's not useful for the purpose because it dates from even before character creation.

So yes, it's from before that point in the game, but maybe a little too far before.
