Thanks for the clarifications!
I agree, the way Enderal (and Nehrim) modifies the game by repurposing existing systems is pretty cool, like the signposts in Ark, for example. I still think it's a terrible way to present the Memory-Talent Tree, but it's usable. As like you said, this kind of thing ...

I'm not reading the whole thread because I can tell it turned into a pointless boxing match really quickly.
While the forced updates don't bother me, I do sympathize with this gentleman's plight. He definitely has a point that you shouldn't force your users to download more than absolutely ...

So I started playing not long ago, and I just decided to look a bit at how the skill progression works. One thing has me shocked, though: the Memory/Talent tree (I'm still not sure what the difference is between a memory and a talent).
When I started playing Skyrim, I always thought the Skill Tree ...

I think the devs want you to explore Enderal widely. There are hundreds of interesting locations, dungeons, ruins, forts, castles, caves, etc. to encounter, and they want you to do so. If there were roads on the map, some players would simply follow the roads from one place to another, and never ...

I just started playing Enderal and I'm really enjoying it. The amount of detail so far hasn't been awfully impressive and I've caught quite a few dialogue bugs, but that's another matter.
One thing I'd really like to see implemented are roads in the world map. Skyrim had this problem too and there ...

Thanks, that was indeed the problem! I rebinded the vanilla H key to something else and now it's fixed.
So the game prompted me to press H to take a look at the Hero Menu and this is what I see:
I'm playing the English version of the game, but the German text isn't what I find most strange
How do I go about fixing this? Is the Hero Menu important, like in Skyrim?

Yeah, I'm afraid it's incomplete. Some of the untranslated documents can be found translated in the Wiki, but sometimes they were simply automatically translated.
I don't agree with the larger world, mainly because I feel that it's hard enough to explore the whole map. I love exploring, but I do get bored if I don't find anything interesting for a long time. I can bare it longer if the scenery is varied and beautiful enough. What really frustrates me is ...
I'm confused, so are they going to record everything in both English and German?
The sets seem to be really buggy, but I don't know if there's a way to work around it with console commands. The team is probably working full time on Enderal, so I guess a fix for this won't be coming any time soon...

"You won't notice the bugs" and "the untranslated chunks are pretty insignificant" is a pretty unprofessional way to look at the problem... It may be "good enough", but the lack of polish is definitely noticeable in some parts of the game.

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone at SureAI is still working on Nehrim. The bug tracker has over 20 pages of reported bugs, and I kind of wish the game would get a few fixes before you archived it. The English translation is still missing quite a few chunks of text and has errors, areas like the ...

Hi, I played all the way through Nehrim and I thought I'd share my thoughts on it. The parts I liked best, the parts that were kind of bad. Watch out, there might be spoilers ahead.
The whole thing was very solid. Not only was it excellent, but it was long, too. I especially loved the story, which ...

Report it in the bug tracker so they'll fix it in the next version: http://www.sureai.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=88&t=3773
