i installed the mod and after updating i click launch and it give me that couldn't retrieve exe version information
is it skse that interfering ?

Enderal uses SKSE and it is installed when Enderal is installed ... so it's not necessarily 'interfering'. Maybe something happened to SKSE during the Enderal installation. Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling a clean Enderal through the Enderal launcher.

I'm actually having the same problem, and don't know what to do to solve this.
I even uninstalled skse and enderal and skyrim and reinstalled both enderal and skyrim.
Doesn't Enderal reinstall SKSE for me?
Because after I reinstalled it still says it can't retrieve version information for SKSE

i reinstalled it and still have the same problem

in your Skyrim/Enderal folder, open the launcher, and from in the folder open skse_loader.exe, and it should launch Enderal without the error message. I don't know if it changes anything in practice, but I dont get the skse memory error.

still same problem i noticed there are no files in data files tab in the launcher
i think i will give up i already reinstalled enderal 6 times
i cant discover the damn problem

I just ended up giving up.
Oh, well.
I really had hopes for this game.

today i tried to reinstall the game and it worked all i had to do is verify the game cache in steam and it worked
