To sum it up since i dragged on: Game launched correctly and a new game was created just fine the first time, going as far as to complete the first interaction in the house with Daddy, but after crashing it now breaks upon trying to start a new game, becoming stuck at the main menu even though the music changes and a sound plays as if it were continuing on to the New Story portion of the game.



Hello! (I'm going to give a little backstory and then address the problem so you guys might have a lead)

I downloaded the files off The Mod DB and the launcher off your site, loaded up the launcher and installed the game via the directory you provided in the launcher and everything was going smoothly. I launched the game and it booted up great, music was beautiful and the main menu was awesome.

So i go to new game, start it up and i get inside the first part of the world. I walk up and talk to Daddy, and complete his whole dialogue/scene in the house. Now THIS is where the problems start sadly. Screen goes black and i hear a voice begin to talk, i figured it was going to be a fade in style intro cutscene as this person was talking. Right as it starts though, the voice starts getting very choppy, almost as if the game was lagging at the same interval, once every 3/4 of a second or so, the screen remaining black the whole time. Then the default Windows "Skyrim has stopped working would you like to close/wait for it to respond, blah blah" window popped up. This is when i knew the game must have broken.

So i close out the game but determined to get the game going, i reboot my computer to give it another fresh start. I launch steam and the Enderal Launcher, launch back up the game and hit New Game. THIS is where it goes downhill again. When i hit New Story, it makes a sound as if it were launching a new story and new music plays, yet the screen stays stuck on the Main Menu. Its not frozen, because i can see the default smoke billowing from the bottom of the screen, so its just got a weird sticking issue.

Sorry in advance if this was already a topic that has been posted, but i could not find a problem similar to mine yet that was posted here, so i decided to make one.

It seems that your first problem corrupted some of your files - if rebooting did not help you should reinstall Enderal.

To fix your first problem, deactivate OneTweak and the windowed mode in Enderal's Launcher. Then the game starts in Fullscreen and the bink videos should play properly. (they usually also work in windowed mode, but there is a good amount of people who have problems with videos in windowed mode)

I got it working by uninstalling and reinstalling the enderal files, I think some must have just been corrupted. Thanks for the help!
