When you run Enderal, can/should we enable this? Is it compatible or does it screw things up? Is Enderal made with it in mind(being from Bethesda) or should it be avoided. I know the textures have gotten treatment anyway in the mod, I'm just wondering

Under zero circumstances you should activate it - the installation of Enderal actually moves it into a backup folder, like the rest of Skyrim (without the .bsas as Enderal needs those).

The high texture pack is already included in Enderal's textures so activating it once more will get you all sorts of errors
