I've been lurking for a couple of years ever since hearing about Nehrim and spending many days exploring that amazing world and really looking forward to losing many more days lost in this new game. Calling it a mod, while technically correct, doesn't seem to do justice to the sheer amount of work here.

Quick off topic question. Is the progress of "The Butcher of Ark" book related to how the game is progressing or not, I'm sure I did see this answered somewhere in the past, but I cannot find it at the moment.

The Butcher of Ark takes place 50 years before the vents of Enderal if i'm not mistaken.
There was talk about that there was going to be a sidequest in the game that allows you to follow in the footsteps of the protagonist but i'm not sure if the plot in the book itself will have a large influence over the main quest or not.
