Gracias for the swift replies.
I was rather hoping to avoid a re-install, mainly because I have around 40 mods in Oblivion stretching back 2-3 years
and wouldn't know where to place them to protect them from removal or how to replace them if something hinky happens.
A re-in on Nehrim is not so obtuse. But, here's a weird thing.
I restarted my rig and after closing down all background apps, started it and the game ran fine. Played for around 10 minutes, then went to check the journal fluke I was getting. Sure enough after a half dozen or so transfers into my safe chest---CTD!
So, I just left it for 3-4 hours until a few mins ago and tried to start it again. Same WinXP popup. It shows a 0xc0000005 code which is
an application error code.
There was some discussion over at the M$ site about an update from back in Sept causing this, but this is new; nothing has ever happened
prior to this indicative of that update being a prob for me. There are no suspicions of infections, either.
Now not sure which way to turn. I am running a 3gb switch on a 32 bit XP Pro sp3 install and run games like FarCry2, BL and S.T.A.L.K.E.R
series on max with my underpowered system. No glitches on any of these.
I guess I can keep on restarting my machine and settling for 10 minutes of playtime until it closes, but what a PITA.
The Nehrim Laucher produces an very own INI which setup is special for Nehrim.
LOL
Gorin, Wrye Bash doesn't even recognize Nehrim for me when I open it as the settings show Obliv ini as default.
How do I set the .ini to make it work?
