Traveling 'n' stuff - by Username

I started playing Nehrim a few days ago, having a super awesome fun time playing it. Thanks for a great game!

Will you be using the current travel system they got in Skyrim, the horse waggon thing?
It would be cool, I like having more travel options, like boats, waggons and magic spells.

Some "Hardcore-mode", drinking, eating and sleeping, option would be cool, and a way to set the timescale.
Could add the "frost mod" to Skyrim, which I think makes the character cold and warm depending on the weather or climate they are in.

I have no idea how this modding stuff works, but would it be possible to make the gear like it was in Morrowind, more parts?

Please use this thread http://www.sureai.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=140&t=6357 so we can gather all this stuff in the same thread - easier for everyone to find info that way! :)

On topic, as far as I know they have not yet (?) decided whether they will use alternative ways of travel, but I think we will see the

system return in Enderal since it works fairly well and doesn't totally destroy immersion. I don't know how far you have come in Nehrim but you'll be able to purchase

mounts later on - and I for one wish to see these return, albeit in more different speeds since I actually run faster than my Nehrim horse right now. Maybe Fredo (mount seller) will make a return as voice actor in Enderal as well.. that would be sweet! Love his voice.
I have asked the question about additional modes and so have many others, e.g see this thread http://www.sureai.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=141&t=6115

Hi there,

Thanks for your suggestion. :)

I cannot yet tell you more than that we are planning similar changes. We also believe that daily needs such as water, sleep and food adds to the immersion, although we do not want to exaggerate. :)
So it's possible that it will come in some form. We can only hope! I doubt there will be a hypothermia mod though since it's pretty hardcore and it's probably not good to make it too hard/choreful to play since then casual players probably won't bother.

I don't know if they can actually do MORE parts - but they can do less, using the set item feature they had in Nehrim, for example some sets only have 2-4 pieces but once you equip them all they cover the whole body. See link

for more information. I don't want to speculate more on the subject, you never know what SureAI will do!
